Ethical Food Philosophy

The imperative to live more mindfully, more sustainably is one of society’s biggest and more compelling challenges. At Provincial Events and Catering we believe that we need to play a role in contributing to the ongoing health well being of our clients and the Victorian environment and community at large. As such we have a policy of sourcing and preparing our foods in ways that minimize harm to people and the environment. Whilst this at times presents us with various issues, we regard this as our contribution to our collective and long term wellbeing.

Provincial Events is dedicated to producing zero waste events, whereby everything can be reused and/or recycled. We are continually adopting new methods of decreasing our impact on our environment.

In keeping with our commitment to sustainability and supporting local producers, wines are predominantly sourced within Australia, with the majority from Victorian vineyards.

We are also developing a menu option that uses organic and humane choice (cruelty-free) produce, such as free-range poultry and meats, from accredited suppliers.
